equipped so you dont have to? The Maxum 2100 SC3 is just what you need.
The smallest cuddy in the 2008 Maxum lineup, the 2100 lets you have it all. Whether you want a boat for watersports, cruising the lake with the family or overnighting, it fits the bill. Even if youre not interested in sleeping anywhere but in the comfort of your cottage, consider what the cuddy can offer in terms of lockable storage and privacy while on the water.
The comfortable cuddy offers a standard Vberth with storage underneath that converts from seating to sleeping. The cuddy also features a portable head, overhead lighting and hatch, and two stereo speakers.
During the day, theres a plenty of room to lounge or entertain in the spacious cockpit due to a beam forward design. A full entertainment centre
with carry-on cooler and dedicated storage ensures all the necessities are close at hand. Standard sport seating includes a large L-shaped lounge and two bolstered, suspension swivel bucket seats at the helm positions. An optional teak cockpit table adds to the functionality of the space with add-in cushions that create a great spot for sunbathing.
Watersports enthusiasts will appreciate the extra large swim platform, offered with a Flexiteek option, with hideaway ladder and grab handle. A huge storage trunk with a padded seat will be great for prepping for watersports. Inside, the trunk contains a transom shower and overboard drain, making for easy gear clean-up and keeping traffic away from the cockpit.
The ergonomic helm offers good visibility both fore and aft. The non-glare, custommoulded dash includes water temperature gauge, voltmeter, tachometer, speedometer, oil pressure gauge, trim gauge and fuel gauge. The
standard JBL AM/FM Stereo MP3-capable CD player is close at hand to keep the tunes pumping and makes them captains choice.
The vented in-floor storage is not large enough for water-skis and other large watersports equipment, but there is still plenty of room for this gear under the L-shaped lounge. Carpeting throughout is comfortable, transom
access panels are convenient, and the sturdy stainless steel beverage holders and grab handles look great.
On the water, the 2100 SC3 planed at 2700 rpm. A hole shot to 20 mph of just under five seconds was good, especially considering the size of the boat and the fact that it is a cuddy. The boat responded quickly in the mid-range acceleration with good even thrust throughout. The 2100 carved effortlessly throughout turns with little cavitation and cut nicely through the
wakes of other boats on the water.
Sporty, stylish, sleek and spacious are synonymous with the new Maxum 2100 SC3.
