Here they go upping the ante again.It seems as though the power-hungry Bombardier gods will not rest until personal watercraft can out-race bad weather.
The manufacturer has just wrenched a 215-hp, supercharged and intercooled Rotax 4-TEC engine into its popular three-passenger hull and its latest muscle-bound machine, known as the RXT, is sure to out-run the rain. It's going to be blue skies and big smiles all day long for the family that climbs on board this craft.
The PWC's performance is eyepopping thanks to the beefy powerplant that's supplemented by an intercooler which oh-so-merrily cools the air compressed by the supercharger, boosting intake. It's a system that successfully increases horsepower and torque without causing turbo lag.That means straight flights just got faster and towing is child's play.
And you are going to want to tackle tubing, skiing and boarding with this boat. It's built for water fun.Why else would it have 52.6 gallons (199 litres) of storage? Think about it. That's enough space for either 100 big bottles of cola, or if you don't get that thirsty in an afternoon,imagine the collection of wakeboards, tow ropes, flippers, snorkels and skis you can stash away.
The RXT also has adjustable mirrors, a ski eye, built-in reboarding step, seat strap and grab handle plus a spacious reboarding platform - all of the extras for safe and effortless water sports.
The boat's transmission even provides forward, neutral and reverse gears to enable easy manoeuvring when picking up riders or docking. Of course the craft also features Bombardier's usual attributes: a multifunction LCD that reports 15 functions, a Digitally Encoded Security System, Off-Power Assisted Steering, the Sea-Doo learning key and the builder's Tip Over Protection System for instant shutdown.
The RXT takes personal watercraft to a whole new level of fun and performance.
